Chapter 3

 In chapter 3, Crymble focused a lot on the different ways technology has been incorporated into the history classroom over the past few decades. He talks about how the method of lecturing can no longer be the sole teaching method that teachers use because of how far society has come technologically. With the use of things like augmented reality and virtual reality there are endless possibilities for what can be taught in classrooms now. There are so many more opportunities for students to learn with the advancements that have come around in recent years and Crymble is arguing that teachers need to utilize these as much as they can. This is really interesting because lectures are such a standard method of delivering instruction so it seems very outside of the box to use something such as AR to teach a lesson. VR can be very useful because you can teach students about a place or thing you would have no way of ever getting them to in person but something about AR seems very daunting. Crymble does a good job arguing why these technologies are important though.
