In this chapter Crymble, really emphasizes the use of blog posts, and how the internet in this time gets utilized for holding onto history for people to access and write scholarly articles, in a section in this chapter he writes "though these early discussion groups predated the world wide web, they helped establish some of the conventions of virtual scholarly communication" (140). what he means by this is by having the internet store so much history for anyone to find it has helped people be able to learn digitally at the click of a button and he really emphasizes that in his chapter and how people creating blog posts using the internet as a source can really succeed with this all-time high internet usage as well as History being stored on the internet. his chapter talks about how the internet is helpful to history and how we can all use it for our own benefits.
