Chapter 1
I always think that it is odd to think about current technology historically. This chapter started by stating, "Computing in historical research according to historiography, emerged in 1949. It is weird to think that computers were being invented in 1949. Compared to current technology, their computing strategies have been all but forgotten. The bulk of this chapter was describing different historians that used computation to aid in their research. Even though most of the historians used different methods, all were successful in their research. Technology has helped historians uncover paper trails and follow them much closer and more accurate, similar to social sciences.
